St. Alexius Hospital has been providing medical care to the residents of St. Louis since 1869, when the Alexian Brothers, with their rich heritage of healthcare in Europe, purchased the twelve room Simons mansion on south Broadway. Since that early beginning, today’s St. Alexius Hospital provides quality medical care and community programs on our three campuses and is Joint Commission accredited for meeting healthcare quality standards.

Broadway Campus - 3933 S. Broadway
The main campus is the administrative center for St. Alexius Hospital. It provides hospital and medical staff services to the South St. Louis area, including the emergency department, the intensive care unit [ICU], radiology, cardiology and therapy services, as well as psychiatric services. The St. Alexius Hospital Senior Care Center is located on the Broadway Campus.

Forest Park Campus - 6150 Oakland Avenue
Conveniently located in the west central part of St. Louis, the Forest Park campus provides psychiatric services.

Jefferson Campus - 3535 S. Jefferson Avenue
Serves as the information center for St. Alexius NewStart, a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence providing surgical weight management programs. Also located here is The Lutheran School of Nursing, a department of St. Alexius Hospital that has been training nurses for over 100 years. The Medical Pavillion on the Jefferson campus serves as a medical office building for area physicians.
